Connexus Industries is a leading provider of chain, manufacturer of lasers and metal detectors with offices in Langley BC, Quebec City and Acworth GA.
We are growing and hiring a Mechanical Designer to work with the production team in Langley to design and develop our products.
Responsibilities include:
- Design components, develop new products and systems.
- Calculate component suitability and systems power consumption.
- Research and develop sprockets, chain, and shaft designs.
- Create detailed component drawings, assembly aids, product specifications and component data.
- Compile BOMs for estimating department.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and quality issues.
Skills and Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience designing for manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks including modeling, assembly aids, and GD&T.
- Strong spatial visualization ability and skill designing equipment for manufacturability.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Annual Salary: $65,000 to $80,000.
